KONewly crowned ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion Jackie Buntan of the United States and the Philippines now has 26 pounds of gold over her shoulders.
The ONE Championship belt sits pretty on her mantle now heading into the holiday season. The 27-year-old Boxing Works product has also since had some time to reflect.
While she is considered a big martial arts star now, being the kickboxing champ in the world's largest martial arts organization, Buntan says she still tries to stay humble and true to herself.
As such, she really doesn't go out much and just enjoys the simplicity of home life.

Buntan told Val de War in a recent guest interview on DeWar Report on YouTube:
"You know, training takes up so much of your life, but I do have, for a long time, I've been able to have a good balance of athlete life and my life outside of that. But, yeah, I tend to be a homebody."
Buntan captured the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing gold last November at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video.
The Filipina-American star dominated French-Algerian legend Anissa Meksen to take home a five-round unanimous decision on the judges' scorecards and the coveted gold.
Jackie Buntan loves to spend time with a close knit group: "I'm quite laid back"
When Jackie Buntan does go out to enjoy herself, it's always in the company of the people closest to her.
This keeps things very simple in her life, just the way the new ONE women's strawweight kickboxing queen likes it.
Buntan added:
"I'm here at home with my boyfriend, and my dog. I live close to the beach, so we're biking at the beach, doing walks at the beach, and going to the beach. I'm a big foodie, going out to eat at different restaurants with my friends. Especially, being in Los Angeles, there's so much you could do out here. But, yeah, I'm quite laid back. You know, whatever I can do in terms of relaxing or just having a good night out with the people I love, I'm doing that"
