Filipina-American striking sensation and former ONE world title challenger Jackie Buntan is glad that she has overcome a terrible foot injury earlier this year to make it just in time for an incredibly important world title showdown with 'C18' Anissa Meksen.
Buntan says she has been raring to go ever since she had to pull out of their initial schedule. Now, the two are headed for a rematch in just a few weeks' time.
The 27-year-old Filipina-American star told Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview:

"Also, I’m not the type to stay down for so long. I usually have a good head space about things and perspective. But after that I let myself be sad for a week and after that it was just ‘okay, what can we do?’ All I can do now is get better, so I just put all my focus and shifted it all to recovering, and I was able to do that smoothly. Yeah, I started my camp up with my bone being 100 percent healthy."
Needless to say, fans are excited to see Buntan lace up the gloves and trade leather with Meksen in the world's largest martial arts organization. And they won't have to wait long.
