Jackie Buntan knows the importance of making a good impression in front of ONE Championship’s first U.S. audience.
The promotion will debut in the United States on May 5 with ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The event will feature some of the biggest names in combat sports, including one of the greatest to ever strap on the 4oz gloves, Demetrious Johnson. The sold-out crowd at the 1stBank Center in Colorado will also be treated to the promotion’s unique take on Muay Thai as Jackie Buntan returns to the circle for a showdown with Australia’s Diandra Martin in “The Art of Eight Limbs”. In a Sportskeeda MMA Exclusive, Buntan shared her thoughts on ONE’s highly anticipated U.S. debut and the importance of making a good first impression:
“Definitely, I feel like having it being the first show here in the States we have to open up the show and make an exciting fight. But honestly, I think that with every fight, even the ones out of the States, the ones far away from home, I think we always have to put on a good show for the fans and for ourselves.”
