ONE world title challenger Jackie Buntan of the Philippines and the United States understands she's a heavy underdog against upcoming opponent 'C18' Anissa Meksen when the two meet this weekend for the gold.
But the Filipina-American standout says she holds one key advantage, an ace in her pocket that Meksen simply does not have.
She has former champion Janet Todd in her corner and as her training partner.
Speaking to Violent Money TV in a recent interview, Buntan talked about Todd helping her prepare for the biggest fight of her life.

The Boxing Works representative said:
"I knew there were going to be some changes that I had to implement into my game or I’d say things I had to add on to my game. Janet [Todd], my training partner, held a kickboxing belt as well. I was able to train with her throughout those camps and see the changes she had to make and stylistically, the things she had to add to her game plan."
Buntan added:
"So I kind of had a heads up and kind of knew what was coming. But I’d say this fight was slated for July this year, obviously I got injured and had to pull out. So having that extra time to really solidify and embed those new changes and add-ons I think would really help me out."
