Third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom says no one puts more pressure on him to perform than himself.
The 32-year-old Bad Company / Thaifist representative is getting ready for the most important fight of his career against former conqueror 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon, and Smith wants to put on a show and beat the Muay Thai icon.
Speaking to Cageside Press in a recent interview, Smith said he needs to be at his best to beat the current divisional king once and for all.

The United Kingdom man stated:
"No, not really. I don’t feel any outside pressure. Well, I feel a lot of pressure on myself because I hold a lot of high expectations for myself. So, if I’m not performing at the level that I want, I’m not very happy."
Needless to say, there's a lot at stake for Smith heading into the Rodtang rematch. Not only is ONE Championship gold on the line for the 32-year-old but also bragging rights.
Smith is looking to turn the tables on 'The Iron Man' after losing to him badly in his ONE Championship debut back in May of 2022.
