Jacob Smith is keeping his mind focused on the task at hand before he makes his return to Lumpinee Stadium on Nov. 8.

The Brit has competed in some high-profile contests during his career, but this next one takes things to new heights. For any Muay Thai striker, there isn't a bigger matchup than squaring off with superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

At ONE 169 on Nov. 8, Smith will challenge the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship in a rematch.

The Brit knows that any mistake could cost him the fight because of the speed and power that 'The Iron Man' brings to the table.

Being calculated at all times is important but that doesn't mean that he's going to suddenly stop trying to find the finish at all times.

Smith spoke in a recent interview with Cageside Press about how getting his hand raised is always the most important thing regardless of the method:

"Just a win. Just a win will do. Now, if you've watched me before, which I'm sure you have, or I'd hope you have, then you know."

Jacob Smith believes he has made the right adjustments

It has been over two years since Jacob Smith last locked horns with the Thai superstar, Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

The fight was a one-sided affair back when Smith made his ONE Championship debut but a lot has changed since then.

The Brit is confident that he can make the right adjustments in order to leave Bangkok with the world championship.

In order to do so, he will need to fight smart at all times and not engage in a war with 'The Iron Man'.

He's always going to be looking for opportunities to hurt his opponent but if that means going the full five rounds with the champion, so be it.
