ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom wants to prove once and for all that fans are wrong in writing him off so quickly against Thai icon 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Smith is set to trade leather with Rodtang next week in a highly anticipated rematch, but fans don't think the 32-year-old will do any better than the first time the two met in the ring two years ago, especially judging by his performance against Denis Puric.
The Englishman lost a close unanimous decision to Puric last April, and it's safe to say fans were not impressed by what he showed in that fight.
Speaking to Combat Sports Today in a recent interview, Smith fired back at critics and says he has something to prove.

The Bad Company / Thaifist representative stated:
"They actually don't know my capability. Because in my last fight against Denis Puric, I'm not going to go into too much detail about it, and I've said online what I had to say. And you know, I'm not going to slag anyone off."
Smith continued:
"At the end of the day, Denis is actually a decent guy. And, I mean, I have some, probably some bad ways to say about him after the fight."
