ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai world title contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom says shifting from an aggressive strategy against Rodtang Jitmuangnon to a more tactical one will be key in their upcoming showdown.

Smith is set to run it back with 'The Iron Man' for the flyweight Muay Thai gold early next month, and he's looking to showcase his technique in this highly anticipated rematch.

The Bad Company representative told Cageside Press in a recent interview:

"So yeah, I’m prepared for whatever Rodtang throws. In terms of me, you’re just going to see a bit more finesse in my work and a little bit more of a smarter fighter."

Jacob Smith is set to face 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship.

The two will lock horns at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, November 8.

Jacob Smith is looking for shocking stoppage of Rodtang Jitmuangnon at ONE 169: "I'm always going for the finish"

The United Kingdom's Jacob Smith warns fans not to rule out a stoppage victory over 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon. It seems the 32-year-old is going for the jugular in their world title rematch at ONE 169 on Prime Video.

Smith believes he has the power and the skill to get Rodtang out of there early.

He told Combat Sports Today:

"My prediction is a win. Now, whether that comes on points or whether that [KO] comes. Look, my style is very entertaining. I'm always going for the finish, always. Sometimes a little too much, maybe, and let's just say I'm going to win the fight."
