Jacob Smith vows Rodtang won't stand a chance with him if he decides to underestimate him as he did with Denis Puric.
The 32-year-old striker has long desired to run things back again with 'The Iron Man,' after losing his debut fight to him in one-sided fashion in 2022. Now, Smith has a second opportunity to set things 'right' in a world title brawl for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title in Bangkok, Thailand.
However, if Rodtang means to put on a show that doesn't look its best, Smith vows to make him pay dearly for it.

"Let's put it this way, if he was to fight me like how he fought Denis, he wouldn't stand a chance. He will not stand a chance because he looked lethargic, a bit slow, he probably didn't even train for the fight. I don't think he took Denis very seriously."
In addition to what Jacob Smith said about Rodtang, the Thai megastar also has problems making weight.
On June 7, he missed the mark against Denis Puric by a whopping 6.5-pound margin. Fortunately for Rodtang, Puric accepted a catchweight bout with the champion for their kickboxing fans worldwide.
But if the Thai superstar fails to meet either weight or hydration standards for ONE 169, he could potentially lose his flyweight Muay Thai belt for good.

ONE flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang revealed that he doesn't see much change in Jacob Smith after two years of fighting in ONE Championship.
There's a big disconnect between 'The Iron Man' and Jacob Smith in how they assess each other's strengths and weaknesses. On the one hand, yoiu have Smith saying that he's come to his own since fighting Rodtang. But Rodtang, respectfully disagrees.
The only good weapon that he sees from Smith's corner, is the ability to absorb large amounts of damage without getting knocked out.
Rodtang told ONE:
"The best weapon for Jacob is his durability. His durability makes him a hard opponent for everyone."
