As announced by Jake Paul's boxing promotion, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the YouTuber-turned-boxer has agreed to fight Tommy Fury in February 2023.
'The Problem Child' was scheduled to fight Tommy 'TNT' Fury of the famed Fury boxing family in December 2021. However, 'TNT' withdrew from that fight owing to a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib. Their fight was rescheduled for August of this year.
However, Tommy Fury was denied entry into the U.S. Reportedly, it was due to his family's alleged connections with Irish boxing promoter and criminal Daniel Kinahan of the Kinahan Cartel. Resultantly, the Paul-Fury matchup fell apart yet again.

At the Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji boxing event earlier this month, Jake Paul got into a verbal altercation. It was with Tommy Fury and his father, former professional boxer John Fury. John Fury later claimed that Paul's manager promised that his client would fight 'TNT' in February 2023.
'The Problem Child' has indicated that he will indeed fight Tommy Fury in February in England. That would be around the time 'TNT's first child with partner Molly-Mae Hague is due. Paul stated that Fury's promoter Frank Warren had clarified that it wouldn't affect their potential matchup:
"Dear @FrankWarren, I agree to fight Tommy in Manchester or London in Feb. I’ll come to his country, no more running. His baby is due then & you’ve said it’s no issue. Since John is adamant we’ve agreed, I am giving you 7 days to present a signed contract by Tommy or I’m moving on."
Moreover, the Most Valuable Promotions Twitter account confirmed that the 25-year-old Jake Paul is simply waiting on Frank Warren to get the 23-year-old Tommy Fury to sign the contract. MVP tweeted:
"John Fury has asked for February. Jake Paul has agreed. All that is needed now is for Frank Warren to get Tommy Fury to sign. MVP is paying Jake Paul and Frank Warren is paying Tommy Fury."

Following his unanimous decision victory over MMA great Anderson Silva in their professional boxing matchup last month, Paul called out MMA megastar Nate Diaz. Many believe the much-discussed Paul-Diaz boxing showdown will be a very lucrative matchup in the combat sports world.
Regardless, with Paul angling for a fight in February against longtime rival Tommy Fury, the Nate Diaz clash has seemingly been placed on the back burner. A potential multi-million-dollar boxing match against the legendary Diaz could finally materialize later in 2023 if Paul gets past Fury.
