Jake Paul expressed his concern for Donald Trump following an assassination attempt on the former US president in Pennsylvania. The incident took place at a live election rally that was televised across the nation on July 13. Paul blamed Trump's security lapse on the Secret Service.
The 78-year-old Trump appeared to have escaped the shooting unscathed, with the bullets just missing his head by a few inches and only slightly injuring his right ear.
Several UFC fighters, including Colby Covington, UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor, and UFC CEO Dana White, showed concern and support for the 2024 presidential candidate on social media during the chaotic aftermath.
However, Paul expressed doubt about the security arrangements made for Trump. The celebrity YouTuber turned boxer recently took to X and displayed his concern, writing:

''Wtf the secret service doesn’t start shooting until after the shooter did? This has so many red flags. Sniper was 150 yards out. Protocol for secret service is to have entire perimeter 500 yards out covered. His detail got compromised, or this was a mishap of epic proportions.''

In another post on X, Paul endorsed Trump, writing:
''If it isn’t apparent enough who God wants to win. When you try and kill God’s angels and saviors of the world it just makes them bigger. Good beats evil every time. #Trump 2024''
A few hours after the incident, the Secret Service confirmed that Trump was fine. Furthermore, the gunman has been neutralized, according to the local law police.
As for the fighting scene, the 27-year-old Paul will face Mike Perry in a boxing contest on July 20. The date was originally set for his fight with Mike Tyson. However, 'Iron Mike' withdrew due to a stomach ulcer during travel. The Paul-Tyson bout has been rescheduled for Nov. 15.
Donald Trump previews Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson clash
A health concern involving Mike Tyson has caused the much-awaited fight between the boxing legend and Jake Paul to be rescheduled for November.
During a recent appearance on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast, Donald Trump, a well-known enthusiast of combat sports, expressed his thoughts regarding the fight:
''Look, Mike was fantastic but, you know, Mike's a little older now and you guys can fight. You can legitimately fight. It's so amazing because I always thought a UFC guy or a top contender would be able to win even at 75 years old, but it doesn't work that way. The clock is still the clock.'' [H/t: MARCA]
