It was a massive announcement in the MMA world as Jake Paul signed with the PFL with the intent of making his debut later this year. The YouTuber-turned-boxer even has an opponent in mind and a multi-fight offer.

'The Problem Child' offered former UFC title challenger and free agent Nate Diaz a two-fight offer that would see them compete in a boxing fight and then six-months later, an MMA fight in the PFL. The offer could be enticing, but fans have taken to social media to call the YouTuber-turned-boxer's bluff, writing:

"So if Nate pieces him up in Boxing, why would people want to see him do it again in MMA?" - {@ProfessorGutz - Twitter}

"How's Paul going to make 170 to fight Diaz in MMA? No way the PFL let's them fight as a mis match weight like the boxing matches. Hope Nate doesn't try to fight at 180+ either." - {@RobbyRob510 - Twitter}
"deserves to be paid in cryptozoo eggs..." {@rscm - Twitter}
"Has this dude ever called out someone in his own weight class?" - @BrianHines - Twitter}

Many fans found it ironic that 'The Problem Child' was willing to compete against the former TUF winner in an MMA fight only after they fought in boxing. Fans commented with their skepticism on the challenge and added that the MMA fight should be first, writing:

"Do the PFL first" {@iLoveMny -Twitter}
"so he can pull out of the mma fight no doubt." - {@NFTSandMan - Twitter}
"with a 0% chance that the MMA bout ever goes ahead" - {@ibetpal - Twitter}
"Notice the boxing match is first cuz Paul prob realizes how injured he will be after an mma fight" - {@cnoevl21 - Twitter}
"Jake wouldn't fight nate in mma" - {@Ferdo5ifty - Twitter}

'The Problem Child' will most likely headline a PFL pay-per-view, which would allow the promotion to generate more interest in their product and hopefully give them a significant return on their investment.

Anthony Pettis offers to fight Jake Paul in PFL debut

Jake Paul will have no shortage of opponents lining up to fight him in his PFL debut and Anthony Pettis has thrown his name into the mix.

Pettis tweeted that if Nate Diaz doesn't accept his offer to fight in boxing and then a rematch in the PFL, he would gladly step in and accept the fight. The former UFC lightweight champion wrote:

"Welcome to the PFL @jakepaul. More than happy to welcome you to MMA's league if Nate isn't available" - {@Showtimepettis}

'Showtime' is an accomplished MMA fighter as he is a former UFC and WEC lightweight champion and has competed in three weight-divisions during his career including lightweight, featherweight and welterweight.
