Jake Paul blasts mainstream media for letting billionaires get away with wrongdoings

Jake Paul v Tommy Fury
Jake Paul v Tommy Fury - fight night

Jake Paul has taken a jibe at the mainstream media with his recent tweet.

'The Problem Child' seems to be frustrated by the mainstream media for how they treat athletes. Paul believes that the athletes are crucified for everything they do and on the flipside, the billionaire owners of the sports teams and leagues can get away with anything they want and are not held accountable.

"It’s crazy how mainstream media crucifies athletes for every action they deem wrong but never fully holds accountable the billionaire owners of leagues & teams who do wrong."

Take a look at Jake Paul's tweet below:

It's unclear as to what made 'The Problem Child' tweet this out. However, it seems to be regarding the current situation surrounding NBA player Ja Morant. The basketball player has been in the headlines for recently showing a gun during an Instagram livestream.

Morant has been suspended by his Memphis Grizzlies team and has been crucified for the same by the media.

Jake Paul believes his loss to Tommy Fury is a gift from the universe

Jake Paul has dealt with his loss to Tommy Fury pretty well. 'The Problem Child' took on his long-time rival Fury last month in a highly anticipated matchup. With a lot on the line for both fighters, it was Fury who came out on top.

After a hard-fought eight-round fight, Fury edged over Paul with a split-decision victory. For 'The Problem Child', it turned out to be the first defeat of his pro-boxing career, which started just three years ago. For the same reason, the 26-year-old was expected to struggle with accepting defeat.

However, that does not seem to be the case. Jake Paul has dealt with his loss pretty well and believes that his loss was a "gift from the universe" in terms of his personal growth as a human being. While talking about the same during a recent episode of Impaulsive, he said:

"This is a gift from the universe. If we're talking about in terms of life and my personal growth as a human being then this is a gift from the universe, this is a win."
