Jake Paul extended a job offer to Mike Perry after 'Platinum' was allegedly fired by Conor McGregor for underperforming in the boxing match. On July 20, Paul defeated Perry by a sixth-round KO to extend his professional boxing record to 10-1. He used his size advantage and pure boxing experience to effectively counter Perry's brawling style, dropping him multiple times before the finish.
Perry has become one of the most prominent bare-knuckle fighting stars after parting ways with the UFC in 2022. McGregor recently acquired part ownership of the BKFC. He has been a vocal critic of influencer boxing and in a fiery X post, the Irishman 'fired' Perry from BKFC for his lackluster performance in the crossover boxing match.
Paul, who seems to have developed a cordial relationship with Perry after promoting the fight and sharing the cage, shared his thoughts on the same in a recent episode of BS W/ Jake Paul podcast. 'The Problem Child' offered Perry a job at Betr, the sports betting start-up co-founded by him:
"We have a proposition, actually. Mike Perry, since you got fired by Conor McGregor from the BKFC, we will hire you into Betr as a partnership and figure out some sort of role, we'll figure out what that's going to be. But Mike Perry, Florida boy, we're Florida-based... So Betr has a job for you, Mike Perry."

Jake Paul praises Mike Perry for "putting it all" on the line, hopes to have a lifelong friendship with 'Platinum'
Jake Paul and Mike Perry exchanged several verbal jabs during the build-up to their fight and fought it out inside the boxing ring. With all that in the past, Paul shared his thoughts on his relationship with Perry in the aforementioned episode of BS W/ Jake Paul podcast:
"It was hard to talk sh** to him the whole week because I thought he was hilarious. But we're selling the fight and hyping it up. Everyone in the comments was saying, 'I think Jake and Mike are going to be lifelong friends and I think it could happen." [2:53]
Paul also lauded Perry for stepping up to fight him and said:
"There's a lot of respect because most people won't actually get ino the ring. He stood there, took the shots, put it all on the line, and I respect any man, honestly, that gets into the ring and is willing to risk it all. I don't respect the person who sits on the couch at the home and never puts anything on the line." [31:26]
While Perry appears to be developing a friendship with Paul, his relationship with Conor McGregor appears to be getting strained. 'Platinum' responded to McGregor firing him by saying that he was also a partner in the promotion. Mcgregor has since refuted the claims and 'exposed' the details of his stake.
