Jake Paul believes KSI’s recent win will give him false confidence.

The influencer boxing scene has continued to grow, with two YouTubers leading the way. Paul and KSI are on a collision course for a massive fight in this new landscape. The latter returned to action on January 14, securing a first-round win against FaZe Temperr, a professional esports player.

‘The Problem Child’ has kept a close eye on KSI as a potential future opponent. He reacted to his rival’s win at MF & DAZN X Series 4 by tweeting out:

“I love when KSI wins because it gives him more confidence for him to actually get in the ring with me.”

KSI advanced his overall record to 4-0-1. The YouTuber has also competed in exhibition and amateur fights. The question is, what’s next for the 29-year-old?

Jake Paul responds to KSI’s post-fight callout

KSI wants to fight Jake Paul as long as they can agree on an equal contract. The YouTuber recently appeared on The MMA Hour and discussed how Paul implements specific contract details to gain an advantage, including the ring size and weight.

After his win at MF & DAZN X Series 4, the 29-year-old called out ‘The Problem Child’ by saying:

“I need more tests until I reach the final level, the final point. Jake motherf***ing Paul.”

Paul used KSI’s words to improve boxing leverage by claiming to be the A-side. He had this to say on Twitter:

“When you repeatedly admit your career is based on reaching me as the final level, the final point, you are acknowledging that I am the A-side. Same for me when I reach Canelo as my final level. Canelo is the A-side.”

‘The Problem Child’ secured his sixth professional boxing victory against Anderson Silva in October. Since then, the 25-year-old has mentioned several potential opponents, including Nate Diaz and Mike Perry.

Jake Paul vs. KSI is a possibility in 2023. Although ‘The Problem Child’ would likely be a massive favorite, the matchup would sell plenty of tickets. The Ohio native could be interested in one more fight before taking on his rival towards the end of the year.
