Former Disney channel star-turned-boxer Jake Paul has revealed that he was alongside NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers when he used the hallucinagenic drug ayahuasca.
The Green Bay Packers ace is a supporter of the use of ayahuasca and its benefits on the mind, famously using the drug in both 2020 and 2022 to help him overcome adversity in his life.
The 39-year-old also recently took part in a 'darkness retreat', where he spent a number of days in a cabin that is half submerged underground. The experience is used to cut you off from the outside world and allow you to meditate and self-reflect in complete darkness.

In an interview with Fox News, Jake Paul stated that he's planning on taking part in his own dark retreat to reflect on his recent loss to Tommy Fury. 'The Problem Child' also revealed that he previously joined Aaron Rodgers in taking ayahuasca earlier this year:
"Aaron and I were actually together when we did the ayahuasca... He’s more publicly known for speaking about it, but I was actually there with him when we did it. We spent the week there doing it. Definitely share that similarity in terms of spirituality and reflecting and going into the deepest parts of the mind. Definitely have been doing some of that."
In regards to his future, Paul added:
"It’s interesting, man, and it’s tough to say. It’s tough to say what I’ll be doing. I think, for now, I’m focused on the next fight and that’s it. I think before, I’ve thought about what I’m going to do, how many fights I’m going to do, and it can be kind of stressful to think about that."
Jorge Masvidal on whether or not he'd be open to boxing Jake Paul
UFC welterweight star Jorge Masvidal has revealed he's open to facing Jake Paul in the squared circle, but admitted that are two key reasons the bout hasn't happened yet.
According to 'Gamebred', the fact that he is still under contract with the UFC means a boxing match is almost impossible. Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou had been pushing for his own boxing match with Tyson Fury, but Dana White refused to budge and Ngannou was therefore released. The second reason is Paul's loss to Tommy Fury last month.
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Jorge Masvidal weighed in on their potential bout:
"They already bursted that bubble just because I always said it would be a great fight for me. I could knock him out, make a lot of easy money while doing it would have been Jake Paul. But you know, that ship has sailed now that he does not have that 0, maybe comes back and gets a couple wins and stuff but that's probably the only dude."
