YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has responded to his upcoming opponent Mike Perry's recent statement where the latter quoted boxing legend Mike Tyson.
The X account of Paul's fight promotion 'Most Valuable Promotions' uploaded a post where Perry can be seen saying that he liked getting punched in the face:
"You know I've had a plan this whole time and I know Mike Tyson says everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face but I like getting punched in my face."
In the second half of the clip, 'The Problem Child' responds to Perry's comments, calling him an "idiot":

"That's because you're a f**king idiot. What makes me good at fighting is I don't like getting punched in the face and I practice not to. That's what I'm gonna teach you in the sport of boxing, you little b**ch."

Paul and 'Platinum' will lock horns in the boxing ring soon. The fight will take place on July 20 and the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida will serve as the venue.
Paul was originally scheduled to fight Tyson on that date and streaming giant Netflix was set to livestream the event. But that fight has been pushed back as 'Iron' suffered a stomach ulcer flare-up that caused him to withdraw from the fight.
Jake Paul predicts the outcome of his fight against Mike Perry
Jake Paul believes he will make light work of former UFC welterweight Mike Perry. The 27-year-old recently uploaded a video to his YouTube channel where he weighed in on his upcoming fight against 'Platinum'.
Paul predicted that he would finish Perry inside three rounds of their fight:
"My official prediction for the fight - three rounds or less. Calling it now. These guys can't hang with me, nobody's really been able to see my skill from the past year. I've had new coaches, development has gone f**king amazing and I'm excited to put on a performance July 20."
