However, fans didn't support Paul, and many slammed him for his disrespect.

For context, Paul and Tyson are set to fight in the squared circle this weekend at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. After their final weigh-ins, they came face-to-face for a staredown, during which Paul crawled toward Tyson and got in his face in an attempt to intimidate the boxing legend. However, Paul seemingly stepped on Tyson's shoes and got slapped with a hard right hand as a result.

In the aftermath, Paul took to X and compared the slapping to the Smith-Rock incident and asked Tyson:

Immediately after getting slapped on stage by Mike Tyson, Jake Paul went on a heated rant and slammed the boxing legend for his actions. Paul stated that he didn't feel a thing and that Tyson's "cute" slap didn't affect him.
