Jake Paul recently sent fans into a frenzy after throwing his support behind Donald Trump for the upcoming 2024 U.S. Presidential elections and claiming that Kamala Harris wouldn't be able to change the nation's abortion laws if elected.
In a recent X post, Paul warned single-issue voters against supporting Harris based on her stance regarding abortion. The former Disney star opined that since she couldn't do anything about the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022 as the sitting vice president, there was nothing she could do about it if she became president due to the Republicans dominating the U.S. Congress.
Calling the American abortion laws a "symbolic issue" that doesn't warrant a vote for Harris, he wrote:
"If you’re voting for Kamala because of abortion laws… you should realize that she won’t be able to go in and change the abortion laws !! She has been sitting VP for 2 years since the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade."

He continued:
"This decision removed the federal constitutional protection for abortion, allowing individual states to set their own abortion laws and regulations, and since then, Kamala has done nothing to change this and would have to go through a republican congress to overturn this decision which wouldn’t happen!! You’re voting for her because of one SYMBOLIC issue she “SAYS” she’s going to change but hasn’t for 2 years."
