Jake Paul has offered up his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Imane Khelif's sub-one-minute finish of Angela Carini during a boxing bout at this year's Olympics.

This is the second appearance for Khelif at the Games, and she will compete in the women's 66 kg quarterfinals this Saturday. The discourse surrounding Khelif is centered on her failing a gender eligibility test at the International Boxing Association (IBA) Women's World Boxing Championships in New Delhi last year.

The Algerian combatant was disqualified by the IBA, which has no association with Olympic boxing or competitor eligibility following a separation between the organizations after years of disputing.

Carini bowing out after sustaining heavy shots less than 50 seconds into the Khelif fight and then profusely crying while kneeling in the ring post-fight has many talking.

Several people outside of the combat sports community have sounded off on this fight by claiming that a biological male fought a woman. Among them is 'The Problem Child', who took to his personal X account and said:

"This is sickening. This is a travesty. Doesn't matter what you believe. This is wrong and dangerous."

Jake Paul makes Angela Carini an offer

Jake Paul went a step beyond commenting on this situation by offering an opportunity to Angela Carini.

The 27-year-old Paul would follow up on his previous X post, stating:

"To Angela Carini although your dreams couldn't come true today because of the crazy agendas that are at play in our world at the moment, I would love to offer you to fight on an MVP undercard, to show the world your talents on a fair platform and not against a man. Internet help this find her."

The Ohio native is referring to Most Valuable Promotions, which is a professional boxing promotion he helms alongside his business associate Nakisa Bidarian.

If this did come to fruition, it would mark the professional debut of the accomplished amateur.

If Carini were to next ply her trade in the world of professional boxing, it would presumably drum up a lot more attention than many debutants typically get. It may be something the marketing-minded Paul sees in the wake of the controversy after her fight with Imane Khalif.
