Whilst it appeared as though the card, which will be livestreamed on Netflix, would be going ahead without 'The Problem Child,' it now looks as though Paul has a new opponent.
Originally broken by @HappyPunch on X, @SpinningBackfist also reported the news on social media. They wrote:
"MIKE PERRY GETS HIS HUGE FIGHT Mike Perry vs. Jake Paul | July 20th per // @HappyPunch"
It is important to note that neither Paul or Perry have confirmed the fight yet, but the pair are expected to announce the news themselves in the coming days.
#2. Dan Hooker accidentally confirms Israel Adesanya and Kai Kara-France's UFC returns
UFC lightweight Dan Hooker appears to have accidentally let his tongue slip during a recent interview with Combat TV.
During the interview, Hooker appeared to confirm that Kai Kara-France and Israel Adesanya will be fighting on the upcoming UFC 305 card in Perth, Australia. He said:
"Perth [Australia]... The UFC said, 'yeah, we'll give him a [fight]. On that date [UFC 305, August 8] and then whoever'. Whoever steps up. [Whoever] steps forward. That's kind of it now. But people are just harassing me for it (laughs)...it could be absolutely anyone. It's just at that date I'll fight anyone... then I get to sit back, pop a beer, watch Kai [Cara-France] fight, watch Israel [Adesanya] fight and have a good night out with my mates. That's all I'm concerned about."

'The Hangman', who trains and is close friends with Israel Adesanya and Kai Kara-France, has fought on numerous cards with both men during his career.
Whilst nothing has been made official by the fighters or the UFC, it is certainly within the realms of possibility that Hooker is in the know in regards to their future match-ups.
#1. Sean Strickland takes aim at Rose Namajunas and Pat Barry's relationship
Controversial UFC middleweight Sean Strickland has opted to take aim at Rose Namajunas and Pat Barry on social media, after the 185-pound champ responded to a fan post on X.
Namajunas and Barry's relationship has been somewhat of a taboo subject in the MMA space, as the pair reportedly met whilst 'Thug' was in high school. A section of MMA fans have since accused Barry of grooming the two-time women's strawweight champion.
A fan shared two images of Namajunas, one from earlier in her career alongside a more recent photo. They captioned the post:
"Wtf happened?"
The No.1-ranked middleweight then responded to the images and fired a shot at Namajunas' partner. He wrote:
"Pat the predator Berry happened"
