Jake Paul and Tommy Fury's highly anticipated boxing match has reportedly been confirmed after two previous cancelations.

Initially planned for December 19, 2021, the fight was first postponed due to Fury's broken rib and chest infection. A second attempt was made for August 6, 2022, but Fury's visa to enter the United States was denied, resulting in another cancelation.

However, a recent tweet by Combat sports Journalist Ariel Helwani confirmed that the two have agreed to a deal to fight in the squared circle on February 25.

In 2020, Paul made a successful transition from YouTuber to a boxer with a win over AnEsonGib. He has since gone on to remain undefeated in five more fights, including a knockout of Nate Robinson and victories over Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Most recently, Paul earned a unanimous decision against MMA legend Anderson Silva, bringing his career record to 6-0.

Similarly, Tommy Fury, the younger brother of world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, also has an unblemished record as a professional boxer with 8 wins and four knockouts so far. It has been almost a year since his last fight, which was a decision victory over Daniel Bocianski in London in April 2022.

While Fury is not a highly experienced fighter and is yet to face a top-level opponent, he is still regarded as Paul's most difficult challenge as 'The Problem Child' has never faced an opponent who has consistently trained and competed in the sweet science.

With that being the case, it will definitely be interesting to see if the fight will materialize this time or if it will follow the same fate of the past.

Jake Paul weighs in on Francis Ngannou being released by the UFC

Francis Ngannou and the UFC have parted ways after their contract negotiations failed to reach an agreement. The cause of the split is still unknown, but it does not appear to be related to money.

While 'The Predator' has already confirmed getting calls from several promotions, however, the Cameroonian has chosen to remain a free agent.

Giving his thoughts on the matter, Jake Paul recently took to his Twitter handle and wrote:

"Francis Ngannou is the baddest man on the planet & is a free agent bc he chose to be. He’s the heavyweight champ in MMA & will be until he loses. They are not happy about this. But it’s reality, & they have to deal with it. They have to live with that everyday. @francis_ngannou."
