Jamahal Hill still feels the referee's faulty decision-making led to his knockout loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 300.
Hill is slated to face Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311 in January. 'Sweet Dreams' has been busy dismissing his loss against Pereira in the lead-up to the fight, trying to downplay it as merely getting caught off guard by 'Poatan'.
Ever since the loss, the Grand Rapids native has criticized referee Herb Dean for revising his original low-blow call, which he believes to have aided Pereira in getting the jump on him.

In one of his latest retorts, the former light heavyweight champion doubled down on his criticism of Dean's poor decision-making while reacting to footage of the fight:
"So that's not advancing during a timeout?"
One fight fan, however, slammed Hill, urging him not to obsess over the loss, pointing out that Dean had clearly signaled the fighters to continue. Suffice it to say 'Sweet Dreams' disagreed with this narrative and was quick to defend himself, writing:
"Herb stepped behind me and said continue blocking my left side! This all happened in 4 seconds so to say that didn't play a factor is retarded!! I accept I should've been more on point and not shown sportsmanship when I wasn't given any, it was dumb on my part, but you learn."
A win at UFC 311 could put Hill back in the title picture and earn him a chance at redemption against Pereira.
When Alex Pereira savagely roasted Jamahal Hill for yawning
Jamahal Hill still considers himself the better fighter despite getting knocked out by Alex Pereira.
After 'Poatan's' most recent title defense against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307, 'Sweet Dreams' was seen yawning comically in the stands. Suffice it to say, the light heavyweight champion had a befitting reply for the disrespect.
When Pereira was made aware of Hill's antics following his win during the post-fight press conference, the Brazilian quickly hit back, saying:
"Maybe he just woke up from UFC 300 [knockout]."
