Jamahal Hill’s recent exchange with a user claiming to be a former Marine scout sniper escalated into an intense online feud. The fan reaction stems from an X post questioning which fighters make the most excuses after a loss, amid ongoing criticism of Hill's response following his defeat to Alex Pereira.
Check out the X post below:
The confrontation began when Hill fired back at critics accusing him of making excuses for the knockout loss against Pereira at UFC 300. As the exchange intensified, a user named "Dustin" mentioned his military background, implying that Hill, who was not in the military, couldn’t understand the realities of warfare. Hill, undeterred, mocked the user’s claims, asserting that his team consisted of “real soldiers” who never resorted to online bashing.

This response only fueled the argument, with Dustin criticizing Hill’s intelligence and dismissing his team as “pog’s,” a term used to describe support roles in the military. The feud took a personal turn when Hill dismissed the user’s military service, accusing him of being unreliable. The former UFC light heavyweight champion wrote:
"Clearly you weren’t that good your bum. Just talking online now and nobody knows who you are!!! Glad our real troops are safer not having to rely on a bi*ch ass pu**y like you for cover."
The user reacted to Hill's response with a cutting reply, writing:
"Sad that you’re so dumb you don’t know how the military works."

Michael Bisping reacts to Jamahal Hill and Alex Pereira's confrontation at UFC PI
Michael Bisping recently acknowledged the backlash Jamahal Hill received after his confrontation with Alex Pereira at the UFC Performance Institute. While fans criticized Hill for not fighting Pereira on the spot, Bisping sides with Hill’s decision to save the confrontation for the octagon, where he could earn a substantial payout.
Bisping claims that he relates with Hill’s mindset, seeing the fighter as someone with a chip on his shoulder, but also understands why others view Hill’s reaction as a "wimp out." Reacting to the viral video on his YouTube channel, Bisping said:
“Why would you want to fight in the gym when you can get paid a ridiculous amount of money to fight for real? Although, on the flip side, I see why people say that as well. I see why they formed the opinion that he kind of wimped out a little bit because he did approach him, and Pereira threw the gloves. They are in the gym, they could’ve trained, they could’ve done a round or two, but it would’ve gotten carried away. It would’ve escalated out of control, and somebody might have ended up getting hurt.” [H/t: MMA Fighting]
