Jamahal Hill reacted to the throwback footage of him offering fans $20,000 to spar him following his loss against Alex Pereira.
In April 2024, Hill pursued greatness in the UFC 300 main event against Pereira, attempting to regain the light heavyweight world title, which he vacated due to an injury. Pereira became the champion while Hill was recovering from a torn Achilles.
Things didn't go as planned for Hill, with Pereira knocking him out in the first round. 'Sweet Dreams' didn't handle his loss at UFC 300 overly well, leading to him consistently feuding with fans on social media who were being disrespectful.
At one point, Hill posted a video challenging his haters to spar him for $20,000. The throwback footage was recently re-posted by ESPN MMA on Instagram and Hill responded with the following comment:

Jamahal Hill attempted to return to the Octagon in June 2024 at UFC 303. Unfortunately, Hill's first fight against Khalil Rountree Jr. was canceled due to the latter failing a drug test. 'Sweet Dreams' later pulled out of his second scheduled bout against Carlos Ulberg due to a knee injury.

Jamahal Hill looks to secure rematch against Alex Pereira with a win at UFC 311
On January 18, Jamahal Hill will fight for the first time since losing against Alex Pereira. The 33-year-old's next opponent is fellow former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka, who's also coming off a loss against Pereira.
Number one-ranked Magomed Ankalaev is the only contender who's currently worthy of a light heavyweight title shot. Therefore, the winner between Hill and Prochazka would have a strong presence in the division's title picture.
In the meantime, a matchup between Pereira and Ankalaev hasn't been confirmed. 'Poatan last defended his title against Khalil Rountree Jr. in October 2024.
Number three-ranked Hill and number two-ranked Prochazka will clash at next Saturday's UFC 311. The event headlined by Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan 2 goes down inside the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.
