Hill jumped to the comment section of the post and applauded the duo by reacting with a clapping emoji.
The reigning UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad was scheduled to defend his title against Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310. However, an infection kept him from making his first title defense.
On the other hand, Alexandre Pantoja successfully defended his flyweight title against Kai Asakura at UFC 310 in a dominant fashion by a second-round submission.
Jamahal Hill gets booed at the UFC 311 media day amid chants of "Chama"
Jamahal Hill has been at the receiving end of online trolling since losing to the UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira at UFC 300. The former UFC light heavyweight champion was returning from an injury to take on Pereira for the title that he never lost. He vacated the belt after winning it at UFC 283 against Glover Teixeira due to suffering a ruptured Achilles Tendon.
He was knocked out by 'Poatan' in the first round to defend his title. The loss didn't go well with 'Sweet Dreams' and he blamed the referee for letting Pereira close the distance after he almost signaled a time-out. Hill has regularly aimed at the 37-year-old Brazilian on social media since then and has become a target of online trolling.
In his latest encounter with fans at the UFC 311 media day, he was booed amid chants of "Chama" while responding to the media. "Chama" is a slang popularized by Pereira and is largely associated with the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion in the combat sports universe.
