Alex Pereira's recent jab at Jamahal Hill over his knockout win over the latter has sparked yet another 'Sweet Dreams' tirade on X/Twitter. This time, Jiří Procházka and Khalil Rountree Jr., both of whom were also recently stopped by 'Poatan', caught strays from an incensed Hill.

He disparaged Procházka as a fighter with a low fight IQ before dismissing Rountree Jr. due to their size difference. Thereafter, he claimed that Pereira only managed to close the distance on him during their UFC 300 due to referee Herb Dean's brief intervention.

"Beat [bet] it funny how you rushed lil *ss Rountree and dumb*ss Jiří like you were the man but waited until the refs got in the way to swing at me!!! You will see me again at 100% soon and we both know the fear that was in your heart!!"

This isn't the first time Hill has taken to X/Twitter in a disastrous attempt to diminish his loss to Pereira. He maintains that were it not for Dean pausing the fight due to an accidental groin kick from him, Pereira would not have been able to establish the range necessary to land his patented left hook, which floored him.

Furthermore, he has been persistent in claiming his perceived superiority over the rest of the UFC light heavyweight division. He states that Pereira will not be able to defeat him in a rematch if the reigning 205-pound kingpin fights to the level that he did at UFC 307 against Rountree, even claiming to be unimpressed by the win.

Hill's chance to seal a rematch with Pereira will come at UFC 311 on Jan. 18, 2025, where he takes on Procházka, a fellow former light heavyweight champion.

Alex Pereira defeated Jamahal Hill, Jiří Procházka, and Khalil Rountree Jr. all in one year

2024 will go down as Alex Pereira's year. 'Poatan' stepped in short notice at UFC 300 as the main event, where he knocked out Jamahal Hill in devastating fashion, punctuating his victory with a viral celebration. Afterward, he stepped in on short notice again—broken toe and all—at UFC 303 after Conor McGregor's withdrawal.

'Poatan' defended his light heavyweight title against Jiří Procházka in a rematch of their UFC 295 encounter, which Pereira won via TKO. The rematch, though, was a far more dominant win, as he obliterated Procházka within two rounds. He then capped off his year with a fourth-round TKO over Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307.
