Jamahal Hill seemed enthusiastic to see the Detroit Lions secure the top seed in NFC when he took to his social media to let people know about it.
In Sunday night NFL action, the Lions bested the Minnesota Vikings in a high-stakes game with a final score of 31-9. The Detroit Lions clinched the number one seed in the NFC for the first time while simultaneously capturing their second consecutive NFC North title. It was a dream come true for Michigan natives and 'Sweet Dreams' took to social media to show his excitement.
Taking to his Instagram story while adorned with a Lions jersey, Hill posted:

Jamahal Hill fires off at a segment of online MMA fans
Jamahal Hill is no stranger to voicing his opinions on social media and recently took aim at a poll on X from the account @MMAUNCENSORED1 that he clearly took issue with. The poll was centric on which UFC fighters that fans felt made the most excuses following a defeat. Some names involved in this voting process included names like Colby Covington, Sean O'Malley, and Hill himself.
The 33-year-old was quick to defend himself at this assertion when Hill responded in the tweet thread by writing:
"Yet nobody can name the excuses they are claiming I'm making!!! Y'all are just d**k riding haters that want to feel like your on the level of somebody you can't fw in any aspect of life!!!"
The moment that critics of Hill cite as an instance of making excuses in defeat came in the fallout from his setback against Alex Pereira. The former UFC light heavyweight champion was aiming to become a two-time titleholder in the headline bout at UFC 300 only to get knocked out by 'Poatan' in the first round of their clash.
Following that title bid in April, Jamahal Hill went on to say that Pereira used a "confusing moment" to connect with a strike and secure what he would also describe as a "weak s**t" stoppage victory. Hill's next contest inside the octagon could potentially propel him to another chance at becoming a multi-time titleholder at 205 pounds.
Jamahal Hill takes on fellow former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311 on the Jan. 18 pay-per-view main card.
