Jamahal Hill recently shared a contrasting opinion on the public altercation between Dana White and his wife. As videos of their fracas did the rounds on social media, many within the wider MMA community have criticized the UFC president for his actions. However, the American doesn't seem to concur.
Dana White was filmed getting into an ugly spat with his wife, Anne, during their New Year's Eve celebrations. The video showed White slapping his wife more than once in response to her striking him during their intoxicated row. Since then, many have analyzed the video closely and noticed details pointing to the UFC supremo's disproportionate reaction.

However, Jamahal Hill had some dissenting opinions. The UFC light heavyweight fighter posted several tweets with his take on the matter and chose to hold Anne White accountable for her actions instead of criticizing Dana White. He wrote:
"If you don’t want to get hit don’t hit nobody period!!! #simple."
He followed up by saying:
"Funny how I say keep your hands to yourself and y’all twist it to i condone beating women!! It’s crazy that women want to just be able to assault men as they plz and we expected to take it and never be human!! Y’all go head bruh!!"
Jamahal Hill is set to face Glover Teixeira for the still-vacant light heavyweight title at UFC 283 after the Magomed Ankalaev vs. Jan Blachowicz bout ended in a draw.

Anthony Smith details his experience of training with Jamahal Hill
Anthony Smith will no longer be facing Jamahal Hill at UFC Fight Night 221 in March owing to 'Sweet Dreams' being rescheduled to face Glover Teixeira for the light heavyweight strap at UFC 283. However, it seems that 'Lionheart' has no hard feelings towards the No.7-ranked light heavyweight and has showered praise on him.
On a recent episode of the Believe You Me podcast with Michael Bisping, Smith opened up about his experience training with Hill and his thoughts on the future potential light heavyweight champion. He said:
"They put me up in a nice hotel room, they gave me a car to drive, they bought all my meals. All the coaching staff [Of Black Lion Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gym] came together and it was this really cool brainstorming session."
He further went on to praise Jamahal Hill, saying:
"You know, I was really impressed with Jamahal. He's very technical on his feet, he's strong, he's an athlete, he's fast... You show him something, you drill through it a couple of times, and then an hour later I see him using it on someone else almost perfectly."
