Jamahal Hill is once again defending himself against droves of fans on X. This time, though, it involved his own family. Hill was a topic of intense discussion among the MMA fanbase when it was revealed that he and his brother got into a confrontation that came to blows. Hill has since come to his own defense.
He penned a statement and lambasted fans for sharing their verdict on a situation they were originally ignorant of. As Hill soon revealed, the melee between him and his brother ran much deeper than anyone could have expected and it involved the mother of Hill's children.
"My brother punched my kid's mother in the head trying to hit me and I jab him once! Then tried to extort money out of me!! The case was thrown out 9 months ago and mfs want to keep talking like family betrayal for money is cool or funny!!! Yall that mad you can't teach my level!"

The bust-up with his brother, which took place on Nov. 27, 2023, led to Hill's arrest on aggravated domestic violence charges. Fortunately for him, the case faltered and he served no serious consequences. Now, Hill is focused on regaining the UFC light heavyweight title he never lost inside the octagon.
However, to do so, he must overcome fellow former 205-pound champion Jiří Procházka, who he faces in a high-profile clash at UFC 311 on Jan. 18, 2025. Both men have chirped back and forth with each other, especially over their mutual loss to Alex Pereira, so their feud will be center-stage next year.
