"This photo was taken in 2008. Zgorzelec Muay Thai training camp. At that time, both of us didn't know where life would take us. We aimed high. We wanted to win, collect some medals. We already had some accomplishments that we were proud of. But still, we dreamed of something bigger. To climb the highest peaks. After 15 years in this game, we can say it proudly. Joanna, we made that dream in to reality."

A look into both Jan Blachowicz and Joanna Jedrzejczyk's career in the UFC
Jan Blachowicz and Joanna Jedrzejczyk are two of the most successful Polish fighters in UFC history. Both have achieved significant success in their respective divisions, with Blachowicz becoming the light heavyweight champion and Jedrzejczyk becoming the strawweight champion.
Blachowicz's rise to the top of the light heavyweight division was meteoric. After a series of impressive wins, he challenged Dominick Reyes for the vacant title in 2020 and secured a second-round knockout victory. He successfully defended his belt against Israel Adesanya before losing it to Glover Teixeira.
Jedrzejczyk, on the other hand, hails from Olsztyn. She made history by becoming the inaugural UFC strawweight champion in 2015. She successfully defended her belt against several top contenders before losing to Rose Namajunas. Undeterred, Jedrzejczyk mounted two comeback attempts but fell short both times.
Nevertheless, her contributions to the sport have earned her a place among the UFC's all-time greats, and she was recently inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
