ONE atomweight kickboxing and interim atomweight Muay Thai world champion Janet Todd is one of the most precise and technical strikers you'll ever see. Combat Press ranks her as one of the best pound-for-pound female kickboxers in the world today. Watching her work inside the Circle, it's quite easy to see why.

In her 2021 Muay Thai firefight with Australian kickboxer Alma Juniku, 'JT' proved she's cut above the rest.

Riding a four-fight winning streak that included a ONE kickboxing world title win over Stamp Fairtex, Todd jumped over to Muay Thai to face No. 4-ranked Juniku. What transpired in the bout was the surgical dismantling of a fighter with Janet Todd holding the scalpel.

Todd's masterclass in Muay Thai exposed Juniku's flaws in every aspect of the game. 'JT' was darting in and out of range, tagging the Aussie with swift combinations and single-hit power shots. Juniku, as game as she was to fight, was mostly swinging in the air as Todd's defensive genius was also on point.

Near the end of the second round, Todd pushed forward and connected with a piston-like right hand that quickly dropped Juniku. The third round saw the American dominate nearly every second, solidifying the victory even more. She went on to win via a unanimous division.

Janet Todd to face Allycia Hellen Rodrigues to unify ONE atomweight Muay Thai world titles

After her dominant win over Alma Juniku, Janet Todd smashed through Anne Line Hogstad. With the win, Todd soon reached the top of ONE's atomweight Muay Thai ranks. She then received a shot at the interim ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title while the reigning queen, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues, was on hiatus due to pregnancy.

At ONE 159 last year, Janet Todd beat promotional newcomer Lara Fernandez to win interim gold. This set up a world title unification bout with Rodrigues to determine who truly is ONE's undisputed atomweight Muay Thai queen. If the American wins, she'll become only the second female undisputed world champion in two different sports. The first one being the woman Todd beat for her first belt, Stamp Fairtex.

Todd and Rodrigues will battle for the belt at ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24. The pair of Muay Thai world champions were originally slated to fight late last year at ONE on Prime Video 5, but Todd had to be removed due to COVID-19. In just over a week's time, however, we will finally have an epic conclusion to the long-standing saga of the ONE atomweight Muay Thai throne.

Fans in North America can watch their world title unification bout and much more live and for free on Prime Video with an active Amazon subscription.
