Two-sport ONE world champion Janet Todd wants to repay Jackie Buntan’s time and effort in preparing her for her atomweight Muay Thai world title unification match against Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.
The first of two world title fights at ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek vs Williams on Prime Video will take place on March 24 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
While Todd has worked with a lot of amazing talents for her long-awaited clash with the Brazilian, it’s no secret that her Boxing Works teammate and fellow ONE Championship fighter, Jackie Buntan is her favorite.

Iron truly sharpens iron, and these two have become absolute superstars in their respective divisions through the hard work they put in behind closed doors.
‘JT’s sights are locked in on Rodrigues at the moment, but she’ll be ready to offer a helping hand to Buntan shortly after.
The Filipino-American phenom, after all, landed a spot in the promotion’s historic on-site United States debut at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs Moraes III this May at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
Speaking to SCMP MMA during her ONE Fight Night 8 pre-event duties, Todd vowed to be of service to Buntan for her fight with Diandra Martin.
However, the double champion jokingly pointed out her diminutive stature as a possible hindrance:
“Yeah, I’ll be helping her too. She’s fighting Diandra [Martin]. She’s a lot taller than me so she’s going to have some different sparring partners that are taller than my five-foot-three size.”

In the meantime, Buntan and the entire Boxing Works team will cheer their lungs out for Todd in her quest to shake off the interim tag on her atomweight Muay Thai belt.
ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek vs. Williams on Prime Video will stream live in US primetime and is free for all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
