Japanese standout Hiroyuki Tetsuka says “there are many ways” to finish Isi Fitikefu in impending Denver barnburner

Hiroyuki Tetsuka is confident he'll walk away with a highlight reel finish when he faces Isi Fitikefu in their welterweight MMA banger in Denver, and his track record is all the evidence he needs to back his words.

The Japanese wrecking machine will face Fitikefu in a pivotal clash at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.

Fitikefu and Tetsuka are two of the best welterweights on the promotion, and a win for either brawler could have massive implications for their respective hunts at a world title shot.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Tetsuka said he can knock Fitikefu out in any way he wants and it seems he already has his striking game plan all figured out.

Tetsuka said:

"There are many ways [to win], I could land a counter and knock him out, or take him down and pound him out. He's only lost by decision once and has never been finished."

Hiroyuki Tetsuka has been almost unstoppable during his ONE Championship tenure, with the 34-year-old establishing an astounding 6-1 record in the promotion.

'Japanese Beast' also holds an impressive 83.33 percent finish rate, with three submissions and two knockout wins.

Tetsuka last scored a dominant second-round submission win over Brazil's Valmir Da Silva at ONE Fight Night 21 in Bangkok.

Isi Fitikefu ready to fight fire with fire against Hiroyuki Tetsuka

There aren't many things in combat sports better than two maulers going at it.

The matchup between Isi Fitikefu and Hiroyuki Tetsuka is one that's almost guaranteed to end in a finish.

Fitikefu and Tetsuka are virtually incapable of putting on a boring fight, and the Tongan star wants to prove that in Denver.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Fitikefu said he's ready to lay it all on the line against Tetsuka at ONE 168.

"I want to put on a good fight, and if it becomes a war, I’m ready for war. I’m ready to die in there if I have to. I’m not looking ahead. I’m not leaving it in there – all or nothing.”

Fitikefu is 8-1 in his career and holds four knockouts and two submission wins in his professional run.
