Jaron Ennis vs. Karen Chukhadzhian is in the books. The boxing event took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Nov. 9 and featured eight fights in six weight classes. This article recaps the fights and explores the full results.

In the main event, Ennis attempted his third IBF welterweight title defense against Chukhadzhian, his predecessor. The pair first fought in January 2023 where Ennis won via unanimous decision to claim the title.

Ennis subsequently defeated Roiman Villa and David Avanesyan by KO to retain the belt. Meanwhile, Chukhadzhian amassed three straight wins (2 KO, 1 UD) to earn another shot at the title. His latest win was a unanimous decision victory against Harry Scarf in May.

While Ennis won their first fight, Chukhadzhian was the only man to go the distance against him in his last 22 fights. This added a layer of intrigue to the rematch.

Predictably, the rematch was a completely different affair as Chukhadzhian assumed the role of the aggressor and pressured Ennis backward. Ennis made the necessary adjustments and shifted the momentum in his favor. He found the range in Round 5 and forced Chukhadzhian to drop to a knee with clobbering shots.

The former champion survived and offered some offense in subsequent rounds but Ennis appeared to be landing more meaningful shots. The referee deducted one point from the challenger for holding. Ennis increased the volume in later rounds but was met with powerful resistance from Chukhadzhian. Both men handled each other's power well and made it to the final bell.

The judges scored the bout in Ennis' favor, declaring him the winner by unanimous decision.

In the co-headlining bout, WBC super flyweight champion Jesse Rodriguez put his title and an undefeated record on the line against interim title holder Pedro Guevara.

As the betting odds predicted, Rodriguez proved leaps and bounds ahead of Guevara in terms of speed, aggression, and overall boxing technique. A left hand from Rodriguez dropped Guevara in Round 3. While he got back to his feet immediately, Rodriguez did not let him off the hook and knocked him out with a right uppercut to retain the title.

Jaron Ennis vs. Karen Chukhadzhian: Main card results

In another title fight on the main card, Raymond Ford and Orlando Gonzalez competed for the WBA continental super featherweight title.

Ford appeared faster than his opponent in the ring, establishing the lead from the get-go. A lightning-fast right hook from him dropped Gonzalez in Round 2. Although Gonzalez answered the 10-count, it took a while for him to recover. Meanwhile, Ford maintained sustained attacks and kept Gonzalez committed to defense.

Another knockdown followed in Round 8 but Gonzalez recovered in time and made it to the final round. After 10 rounds of action, Ford won the WBA continental super featherweight title via a unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, undefeated boxer and light heavyweight prospect Khalil Coe attempted his first WBC USA light heavyweight title defense against Manuel Gallegos on the main card. The fight was originally scheduled to take place at the same venue in July. However, it was rescheduled after Gallegos suffered a training injury.

Coe defeated Kwame Ritter in a late replacement bout by second-round TKO to capture the vacant WBC USA light heavyweight title.

Against Gallegos, Coe tasted success early and fought behind a power jab to halt his opponent's advances. He appeared cruising to a definite victory in the early rounds but completely abandoned the power jab. The momentum shifted in Gallegos' favor when he dropped Coe with a body shot in Round 4. He continued to build on the success, scoring another knockdown in Round 7.

The Mexican continued to pour it on the American as he appeared badly hurt, especially to the body. Gallegos secured a Round 9 KO to pull off a major upset.

In the main card opening bout, Austin Williams dominated Gian Garrido with sleek boxing. Garrido survived the onslaught for four rounds but had little to offer in terms of offense. A huge left hand from Williams started the finishing sequence in Round 5. As a visibly hurt Garrido tried to maintain composure, 'Ammo' put him against the rope with follow-up strikes. The referee stopped the action to save Garrido from unnecessary punishment.
