Jarred Brooks is arguably the most thorough fighter when it comes to his training camps.

Although he's more known as a natural grappler, Brooks always goes through every aspect of mixed martial arts until he feels he's reached a level of preparation needed for actual competition.

This psyche stayed with Brooks his entire career, and he's beyond excited to finally unleash his full arsenal against Gustavo Balart at ONE Fight Night 24. Brooks will face Balart for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world title in the card's main event on August 2 at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

In an interview with FightWave, Jarred Brooks acknowledged the strong run Balart is having ahead of their interim world title fight. However, he is determined to knock Balart down a peg and show the number three-ranked strawweight MMA contender what he's been working on in training camp.

"So, you know, Gustavo Balart, the dude's a Cuban Olympian who has made a good streak in mixed martial arts and in ONE Championship. So, I'm super excited to get to showcase what I've been working on."

The former ONE strawweight MMA world champion is an aggressive wrestler who will stop at nothing to bring the fight to the mat and constrict his opponent's airways.

Brooks, however, has an underrated striking game that he can always rely upon when the situation needs to.

ONE Fight Night 24, just like all of ONE Championship's Amazon cards, is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Jarred Brooks says he has tricks up his sleeve against Gustavo Balart

Jarred Brooks knows that evolving is a necessary trait for any fighter, and he plans to show what he's worked on against Gustavo Balart in Bangkok.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Brooks said he developed a new fighting style ahead of ONE Fight Night 24:

"I'm super excited to show a different kind of style of art and to make people understand that I adapt to every fighter that I fight, and I think that's why I'm so dangerous. I think that a lot of fighters don't do the things that I do. And I'll go work with the best Muay Thai guys in the world. I'll go work with the best jiu-jitsu guys. I'll go work with some of the best wrestlers, the best boxing coaches."
