Rodtang Jitmuangnon has long established his reputation as one of the most lethal strikers in the world, but Jarred Brooks begs to differ.
Whatever the case may be, Rodtang is once again stepping inside the Circle to defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title against Joseph Lasiri at ONE on Prime Video 4 this Friday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Lasiri, the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion, aims to become a two-division world champion at ONE Championship’s fourth Amazon Prime Video card. ONE on Prime Video 4 will stream live for free with a Prime Video subscription.

If Lasiri wants to get an edge over Rodtang, then he has to take some notes on how Jeremy Miado battered Danial Williams at ONE on Prime Video 3.
While Rodtang captivated audiences with his dominating style, Brooks believes that Williams’ loss to Miado exposed the Thai megastar. Brooks, the No.1-ranked strawweight contender, said in an interview with MMA Sucka:
“I think Jeremy Miado just proved that Rodtang isn’t as good as he is.”
Williams went strike-for-strike with Rodtang at ONE on TNT I back in April 2021. Though he lost the match, ‘Mini T’ was one of those rare fighters who stood their ground against ‘The Iron Man’.
Miado, however, completely plastered Williams for a third-round knockout win at ONE on Prime Video 3 this past October.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon, though, remains ONE Championship’s most dominant striker and is a completely different test from what Lasiri has faced inside the Circle.
He is the winningest fighter in Muay Thai and kickboxing in ONE Championship with 11 wins to his name. Rodtang’s also held the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title since August 2019.
Rodtang reveals the fighter he’d never fight
Some fighters thrive in danger, some relish in it, and then there’s Rodtang Jitmuangnon who actively welcomes a firefight.
Rodtang is one of those martial artists who’s willing to stand in the line of fire and accept any foreseeable damage and he might just do that against Lasiri this Friday.
While he holds supreme confidence in himself, there is one person whom Rodtang would not want to cross.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Rodtang Jitmuangnon admitted that ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion is the fighter he’d never fight at this point in time:
“Actually, I have no chance against him. I would only dare to fight him when he gets older. I think I can only beat him that way.”
