Jarred Brooks has a logical plan in place if he were to defeat No.4-ranked flyweight MMA contender Reece McLaren this Friday.
'The Monkey God' is just one day away from making his bow in the organization's stacked flyweight MMA division at ONE Fight Night 26, and is already thinking about his next steps as a two-division competitor.
Speaking to the Bangkok Post, the ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion said:
"I want to unify my belt and then go again (at flyweight). I want to do it in a good way. I want to go back into strawweight, win the 125 lbs title and then go up to 135 and then win the 135 lbs title. It just makes sense that way."

Jarred Brooks has come a long way since losing his coveted throne via disqualification to reigning ONE strawweight world champion 'The Passion' Joshua Pacio. In between that time, Brooks made every effort in the book to learn from his mistakes and come back to the ring more resilient than before.
That day arrived when he defeated top contender Gustavo Balart via a first-round submission at ONE Fight Night 24, to win the ONE interim gold.
Now, while his rival Joshua Pacio recovers from a serious injury, Jarred Brooks continues doing what he does best, which is to stay active and troll his adversaries in the flyweight division with his indelible talents.
ONE Fight Night 26 airs live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand via Prime Video in North America.

"Beat that booty."
