Jarred Brooks has proven that he is always prepared to fight until the final bell during his time in ONE Championship.
This constant pace and confidence in his cardio have been crucial for 'The Monkey God' during his run in the strawweight MMA division.
He expects the same to be the case for his next fight at ONE Fight Night 24 where he competes for the interim title.
Gustavo Balart is a very tough opponent to prepare for because few athletes are quite like him.

Standing under 5 feet, the Cuban athlete is an absolute powerhouse with a stocky build that allows him to generate explosiveness and utilize his wrestling game.
Brooks, however, believes that this could end up being a disadvantage him for in this fight on August 2.
Whilst Balart's wrestling pedigree and physical prowess are also his biggest advantage, Brooks told ONE Championship that he sees this being an issue for him once the fight starts to enter the later rounds:
"His legs are super thick. The acid that builds up in his legs is gonna end up making him tired if he doesn't literally sprint five miles a day."
Jarred Brooks is expecting to weather a storm
With Jarred Brooks anticipating that Gustavo Balart's explosive athleticism will make him tire much faster, pace is clearly a huge part of this fight.
The former champion has already spoken about how he expects his opponent to come straight out of the blocks at Lumpinee Stadium.
If he is able to safely navigate the opening few rounds without letting Balart fight at a comfortable pace, Brooks' best chance of winning may be to drag the fight into deep waters where he can use his cardio to his advantage.
Balart is incredibly dangerous but the question is whether he can keep that up over five rounds.
ONE Fight Night 24 will air live in US Primetime, free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
