Jarred Brooks has always bounced back from a setback and he believes his return to the ring at ONE Fight Night 24 will be no different.
After surrendering the undisputed ONE strawweight MMA world title to Joshua Pacio following a devastating disqualification loss at ONE 166 in Qatar, 'The Monkey God' will once again have the chance to wrap 26 pounds of gold around his waist as he challenges Gustavo Balart for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world championship.
Though his losses are few and far between, Brooks is confident that he'll come back much better and more determined following his first defeat under the ONE Championship banner.

Speaking to the promotion, Brooks said:
"I'm going to come back a million percent harder’ and people just don't understand that until it happens. So if you watch my career, any loss that I've had, I've always bounced back."
While Jarred Brooks will be looking to return to the win column at ONE Fight Night 24, Gustavo Balart will be trying to keep his unbeaten streak alive against 'The Monkey God' inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Gustavo Balart can achieve his dream with a win over Jarred Brooks at ONE Fight Night 24
After a disastrous 0-3 start inside the Circle, Gustavo Balart has seen an incredible career turnaround in recent years, securing four wins in a row, starting with a unanimous decision win over 'Dragon Boy' Ryuto Sawada at ONE: Battleground.
He followed that up with a couple of solid W's against Yosuke Saruta and Alex Silva before besting fourth-ranked contender Hiroba Minowa at ONE: 165 in Tokyo, Japan.
Now, the American Top Team product finds himself one win away from achieving his dream of becoming a world champion. Speaking to ONE, Balart said:
"I do not want to prove anything. I just want to be the next champion. That is my dream. I have been working for this all my life to be an MMA champion."
