Jarred Brooks is no stranger to the big moments, and he's had his fair share of them during his ONE Championship run so far. As he looks to return in the final Fight Night event of the year, he tipped his hat toward one of the biggest victories of 2024.
ONE 169 at Lumpinee Stadium last month looked to be one of the biggest cards that the promotion has put on over the past 12 months. In the main event, Anatoly Malykhin put his undefeated record and heavyweight world championship on the line against Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane.
With his biggest win to date by some margin, Kane was able to take both from the dominant Russian after getting his hand raised via the scorecards.
The aftermath of such a big win has already been felt with the incredible reactions that the new world champion has received ever since.

In a fight week interview with the Bangkok Post before he returns at ONE Fight Night 26, Jarred Brooks gave his thoughts on seeing 'Reug Reug' lift the gold:
"It's great to see 'Reug Reug' and his trail up to being one of the best in the world and to be the best in the world and to beat Anatoly Malykhin. I mean, Malykhin is literally the boogeyman of the heavyweights worldwide."
