Jarred Brooks wants to go on a date with Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak

‘The Monkey God’ Jarred Brooks is ready for a date night and he hopes it will be with striking sensation Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak.

Jaroonsak is coming off of an impressive performance at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video over the weekend, going toe-to-toe with former two-sport ONE world champion Stamp Fairtex. Following the high-octane scrap between two of the best female strikers in the world, newly crowned strawweight world champion Jarred Brooks expressed his interest in going on a date with Jaroonsak. Taking to Twitter, ‘The Monkey God’ tweeted:

“I think I want to take supergirl out on a date now she beat stamp!”

Unfortunately, ‘Supergirl’ came up short of getting the victory on Friday night, losing the bout via a closely contested split decision. Whether Jarred Brooks believes Jaroonsak won the fight or simply did enough to earn a decision is unclear, but it’s safe to say that his interest in ‘Supergirl’ likely does not hinge on whether or not she lost the bout with Stamp Fairtex.

Despite dropping the first bout of her ONE Championship career, the loss is unlikely to do Jaroonsak any real harm. The kickboxing contest was the result of a last-second shakeup to the card after Stamp’s original opponent Anissa Meksen no-showed the hydration test and weigh-in prior to the event. Jaroonsak remains undefeated in Muay Thai competition in ONE Championship.

‘Supergirl’ isn’t the first fighter Jarred Brooks has tried to score a date with

Jarred Brooks’ pursuit of Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak could be a rebound attempt by ‘The Monkey God’ after getting essentially turned down by three-sport superstar Stamp Fairtex. In December 2021, Brooks responded to an Instagram post by Stamp, asking:

“@Stamp_fairtex what’s up let’s go on a date or some?”

As it turns out, Stamp Fairtex was open to the idea, but only under some very specific terms. Speaking with ONE Championship, ‘The Monkey God’ revealed Stamp’s requirements for a night out on the town:

“Stamp Fairtex, I've asked her on dates plenty of times, and she's saying that I have to either beat Rodtang in a mixed-rules fight or win a Muay Thai Grand Prix [title]. Girl, win a wrestling world championship and then talk to me.”

It’s safe to assume that Jarred Brooks won’t be wining and dining Stamp Fairtex anytime soon with those terms, but perhaps ‘The Monkey God’ will have better luck with ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak.
