Jarrell Miller remains in the hunt for a fight with Anthony Joshua.
'Big Baby' returned over the weekend in Dubai against former champion Lucas Browne. The two heavyweights put on a slugfest, going back and forth for six rounds. Ultimately, it was in that round that Miller closed the show with a knockout.
The win was one of the biggest of the former kickboxer's career, and his third since returning last year. Miller famously missed nearly four years of his career due to several positive tests. Along with losing years of his career, he also lost a fight with Anthony Joshua.

'AJ' was set to face the undefeated heavyweight in June 2019 in the British star's first fight in America. However, the clash at Madison Square Garden didn't end up happening due to Miller's aforementioned drug test failures. Three years on, the latter is still attempting to secure the matchup.
In a post-fight interview on the broadcast with Tyron Woodley following his win, Jarrell Miller stated:
“I want [Daniel] Dubois or I want AJ. We got unfinished business. You know, he gotta be a man and step up to the plate. He can’t have his balls in his pocket. If he want the fight, let’s make it happen. He want an easy win. He fighting Jermaine Franklin coming off a loss, which I thought he beat Dillian Whyte. So AJ, let’s get it on. Stop being a p-ssy. You know what I mean? Straight up.”
Will Anthony Joshua fight Jarrell Miller next?
Jarrell Miller might want to fight Anthony Joshua, but 'AJ' is currently occupied.
The former heavyweight champion has been out of the ring since his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk last August. While Joshua did have some early success, 'The Cat' dominated the championship rounds en route to a split-decision win.
Following the bout, the Brit again decided to switch trainers. This time, swapping out Robert Garcia for Derrick James. In his comeback, Joshua decided to take a few tune-up matchups rather than face a top-ranked fighter.
Anthony Joshua is currently set to face Jermaine Franklin on April 1st at The O2 Arena in London, England. '989 Assassin' is coming off a close decision defeat to Dillian Whyte last November but is deadset on upsetting the former champion.
While that fight is currently holding back Jarrell Miller facing the Brit, they might have an opening if Joshua wins next month.
