Jason Momoa became the latest addition to the list of people who congratulated Alex Pereira after his victory at UFC 307. The 45-year-old Hollywood star caught up with 'Poatan' and his coach, Plinio Cruz, recently through a video call.

Pereira defended his UFC light heavyweight gold successfully for the third time at UFC 307. However, he had to work a lot more to earn the victory this time. His rival, Khalil Rountree Jr. made him retreat several times and even knocked him down in the second round. But Pereira showcased his striking masterclass and finished the gassed-out Rountree in the fourth round via TKO.

The UFC fanbase showered both the UFC 307 main eventers with praise because of the superior quality of the fight. Momoa also hopped onto the bandwagon as he caught up with Pereira and Cruz through a video call.

Later, the Brazilian uploaded a screenshot from their call to his Instagram story.

Jake Paul is confident about beating Alex Pereira after watching him fight Khalil Rountree Jr.

Jake Paul has been trying to get his hands on Alex Pereira for quite some time now. 'The Problem Child' called out 'Poatan' for the first time on July 20, following his victory against BKFC star Mike Perry. But, the UFC 307 main event has filled him with confidence about getting the better of Pereira.

Paul recently appeared in an interview with the Kick streamer, Adin Ross, where he revealed his confidence in defeating Pereira in a boxing match. The Ohio native said:

"He [Pereira] has holes, right? I mean, Rountree Jr. rocked him, hurt him a couple of times to the body, but didn't follow up on it. So if anything this fight has showed me, [that is], yes, Alex Pereira is great. But I know I would beat him in a boxing match and I still would love to make that happen.''
