Jeremy Miado is excited about the massive opportunity awaiting him at ONE Fight Night 23. Miado's fighting career hasn't gone as planned recently. 'The Jaguar' has lost his last three, including two by first-round submission.

Luckily, the 31-year-old strawweight MMA contender has a chance to turn things around in his next fight.

On July 5, Miado will face No. 4-ranked Hiroba Minowa at ONE Fight Night 23.

During an interview with Spin. Ph, 'The Jaguar' stressed the importance of defeating Minowa in "such a big fight" by saying:

"It's nice to have this kind of training camp for such a big fight. I'm excited. This is such a big opportunity for me."

It should be noted that Miado isn't the only fighter looking to end a three-fight skid on July 5.

Following an impressive 2-0 promotional start, Hiroba Minowa hopes to bounce back after suffering three consecutive decision losses against top ONE strawweight MMA contenders.

ONE Fight Night 23 goes down inside the legendary combat sport venue of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

The upcoming event in Bangkok, Thailand featuring Minowa vs. Miado can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

What's at stake between Jeremy Miado and Hiroba Minowa?

Joshua Pacio is currently the ONE strawweight MMA world champion. Unfortunately, the Filipino superstar suffered a torn ACL earlier this year, postponing the first title defense of his latest reign.

In the meantime, Jarred Brooks and Gustavo Balart will determine an interim title holder on Aug. 2 in the ONE Fight Night 24 main event.

The winner between Brooks and Balart is expected to face Pacio later this year or early 2025.

Therefore, Jeremy Miado and Hiroba Minowa will battle at ONE Fight Night 23 to strengthen their presence in the ONE strawweight MMA division.

With a win against Minowa, Miado could end his three-fight skid and potentially find himself in the top five rankings.
