Jeremy Miado prioritized improvement in his grappling skills during his training camp for ONE Fight Night 23.

Heading into next Friday's event, Miado is focused on proving he's evolved his grappling skills to counter Minowa. During an interview with The MMA Super, 'The Jaguar' had this to say about adjustments he made in his latest training camp:

"I trained a lot of jiu-jitsu and grappling defense for this fight. A lot of drills and repetitions, because admittedly, I lacked in these areas in my losses. I need to get better in those areas."

What's at stake between Jeremy Miado and Hiroba Minowa?

On August 2, number one-ranked Jeremy Miado and number three-ranked Gustavo Balart will battle for the interim ONE strawweight MMA world title. The winner of the ONE Fight Night 25 main event is expected to face the division's king, Joshua Pacio, once he returns from his torn ACL.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Miado and Hiroba Minowa look to strengthen their presence in the division. Despite his three-fight losing streak, Miado has an opportunity to showcase an impressive performance against Minowa and potentially enter the ONE strawweight MMA rankings.
