Fabricio Andrade will be coming for blood when he meets division rival John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker for the second time.
The two Brazilian MMA icons will run back their bout from ONE on Prime Video 3 in October 2022. Despite delivering an incredibly entertaining affair, the ONE bantamweight world title fight left the promotion without a world champion after an ill-placed knee from Andrade landed low on Lineker resulting in a no-contest.
Up until that point, Fabricio Andrade was in full control of the contest and narrowly finished ‘Hands of Stone’ with a brutal knee to the midsection. Ahead of their rematch at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video on February 24, The MMA Superfan caught up with Team Lakay standout Jeremy Pacatiw to get his thoughts on the highly anticipated sequel:
“I think Fabricio has the mental edge now and his confidence is at an all-time high... He has this mindset now of ‘I wanna kill this guy.’”

Andrade has exhibited a significant amount of confidence going into their rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. Understandably so considering how close he came to becoming a ONE world champion in their last meeting. Will Fabricio Andrade get the job done the second time around or will John Lineker change up his game plan and reclaim ONE gold?
ONE Fight Night 7 will take place in the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok on February 24. The card will be available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers.

John Lineker plans to stay out of danger in rematch with Fabricio Andrade
When John Lineker goes into his rematch with Fabricio Andrade at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium later this month, he’ll do so with some very valuable experience.
Having shared the circle with ‘Wonder Boy’ for three and a half rounds last year, ‘Hands of Stone’ plans to use that knowledge to better prepare for Andrade’s devastating attacks:
“He knows how to use knockout blows a lot, with knees, kicks... He's very skilled,” Lineker told Sportskeeda MMA. “It didn't surprise me too much, because everything we expected happened. I was already expecting the knees and kicks. He knows how to execute the blows with excellence, but now I'm going to take more care of that part and stay off target."
Of course, staying out of the way of Andrade’s world-class striking is easier said than done. Just ask Li Kai Wen, Jeremy Pacatiw, and Kwon Won Il. All three suffered first-round knockouts at the hands, and legs, of ‘Wonder Boy’ on his way to becoming the bantamweight division’s No. 1 ranked contender.
