Bantamweight contender Jeremy Pacatiw is looking forward to the title fight coming up in his division.

At ONE on Prime Video 7, John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade will face off again in a rematch of their fight at ONE on Prime Video 3. After their first meeting ended in a no contest, the vacant bantamweight world championship will be on the line when the two Brazilians step inside the circle.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Jeremy Pacatiw spoke about his anticipation for the fight and how he expects this fight to be closer than the first meeting between Andrade and Lineker:

“That’s going to be a good fight. Fabricio dominated the first one, but we can expect John Lineker to make adjustments. Can’t wait to see it.”

At ONE on Prime Video 3, Fabricio Andrade faced the biggest test of his career to date when he took on John Lineker. After the former champion had missed weight, only Andrade was eligible to leave the cage as the world champion and he was seemingly moments away from accomplishing that dream.

After nearly finishing Lineker, Andrade landed an unintentional knee to his opponent's groin, which ended the fight in a no contest when Lineker couldn’t continue.

As Jeremy Pacatiw pointed out, John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker will make adjustments going into their second fight to try and reclaim his world title that he lost on the scales.

ONE 164 results: Jeremy Pacatiw pockets $50k bonus after dominating Tial Thang

Jeremy Pacatiw returned to the circle on Saturday at ONE 164 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. The Team Lakay fighter got the job done in front of his home fans in the Philippines and walked away with a bonus for his performance.

The bantamweight standout looked to get back into the win column against Kill Cliff FC fighter ‘The Dragon Leg’ Tial Thang.

Pacatiw’s speed immediately came into play, forcing Thang to try and clinch up with his opponent and secure a takedown. After threatening with an armbar attempt, Pacatiw got the fight back to the feet and the two men traded shots for the remainder of the opening round.

Picking up right where they left off, Jeremy Pacatiw and Tial Thang continued to swing widely at each other in the second round. After winning the exchanges, Thang once again looked to take his opponent down, but Pacatiw ended up in the better position after scrambling.

Whilst trying to take his opponent’s back, Pacatiw found himself in bottom position and was able to throw up a triangle during the transition. As the submission got closer, ‘The Dragon Leg’ had no choice but to tap just over a minute into the second round.
