ONE bantamweight contender Jeremy Pacatiw knows all too well about the dangerous striking that Fabricio Andrade brings to the table.

At ONE Championship: Full Circle in February 2022, Andrade’s offensive capabilities were in full force against Pacatiw, stopping his opponent in the opening round with his signature step-in knee to the body.

The striking of ‘Wonder Boy’ has allowed him to produce a dominant streak since signing with ONE Championship in 2020. With five wins and four finishes under the ONE banner, the one blemish on Andrade’s run with the promotion is his no contest against John Lineker last time out, which he will look to correct in their rematch on February 24.

Ahead of ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Jeremy Pacatiw did his best to explain what it is like to stand and strike with Andrade in an interview with the promotion:

“Fabricio Andrade’s strikes are like stray bullets. You can’t see them coming and one clean connect is all it takes.”

Andrade nearly finished John Lineker to become the bantamweight world champion with the exact same strike that he stopped Jeremy Pacatiw with.

His knee is such a devastating strike that after hurting Lineker to the body, his follow-up shot landed to his opponent’s groin with such power that it broke his protective cup.

Jeremy Pacatiw says John Lineker "doesn’t care if he gets hit" and "toughness" is his best quality

Whilst Jeremy Pacatiw knows how dangerous Fabricio Andrade is in striking range, he also believes that John Lineker has a great counter to it.

The former ONE bantamweight world champion has a signature fighting style that has made him one of the most exciting fighters on the planet. With his devastating punching power, Lineker often puts himself in harm's way in order to relentlessly pressure his opponents so that he can back them up and let his hands go.

At ONE on Prime Video 3, John Lineker wasn’t able to implement his gameplan against Fabricio Andrade, whose speed, movement and range kept Lineker on the outside.

Whilst he is willing to take a shot in order to land one of his own, Andrade’s precision was too much for Lineker the first time around.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, bantamweight contender Jeremy Pacatiw spoke about Lineker’s biggest strengths inside the circle. He said:

“John Lineker’s biggest attribute is his toughness. He’s able to walk through a lot of shots and doesn’t care if he gets hit, as long as he’s able to land those wild hooks and make his opponents feel his power.”

At ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24, John Lineker will need to prove that he has made the right adjustments after his first fight with Andrade didn’t go his way. Live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the entire event will air free for North American viewers via Prime Video.
