Team Lakay fighter Jeremy Pacatiw believes John Lineker has the punching power to reclaim the ONE bantamweight world title later this week. However, he's asserted that the former champion should do a better job of not being predictable.
'Hands of Stone' Lineker seeks to return to champion status in his all-Brazilian rematch for the vacant ONE bantamweight world title against Fabricio 'Wonder Boy' Andrade.
They're set to collide again at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, scheduled for this Friday, February 24, in Bangkok.

The contest is a redo of their first title clash back in October, which ended in a no contest and saw Lineker stripped of the world title prior to the match for missing weight.
Wearing his analyst hat, Jeremy Pacatiw sees Lineker having the skills to counter Andrade, but noted that he has the tendency to have “tunnel vision” when he unleashes his attacks, sometimes to his detriment.
Jeremy Pacatiw told ONE Championship in an interview:
“John Lineker’s hooks are very, very dangerous. And it seems like he doesn’t care if he gets hit, as long as he’s able to hit you with it. He has tunnel vision. But that can also work against him with Fabricio Andrade. He has to avoid that.”
Prior to his first title clash with Andrade being ruled a no contest, Lineker was given a beatdown by 'Wonder Boy', who was very effective with his movements and striking. While the match ended the way it did, Lineker could not take comfort from it knowing he was dominated.
The former world champion looks to redeem himself at ONE Fight Night 7 with a far better performance and a title-reclaiming win. Jeremy Pacatiw will be a keen observer of the rematch as its outcome will influence the shape of the division he is competing in moving forward.
ONE Fight Night 7 takes place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and is aired live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.
Jeremy Pacatiw says Brazilian fans may get behind Fabricio Andrade in John Lineker rematch
Considering how Fabricio Andrade impressed in his first stab at the ONE bantamweight world title, Filipino fighter Jeremy Pacatiw believes 'Wonder Boy' will enjoy more fan support over John Lineker in their rematch this week.
Andrade seeks to complete unfinished business when he steps in to fight at ONE Fight Night 7 on February 24 in Bangkok in a redo title showdown with Lineker.
The two top Brazilian fighters fought to a no contest in their first encounter last October. Despite the sorry ending, Andrade still swayed many to his side with his effective performance that saw him go nearly all the way and win.
For Jeremy Pacatiw, that should see more fans, both in Thailand and Brazil, siding with 'Wonder Boy' in the rematch:
“Yeah I think so. Fabricio may not be from Thailand technically, but his training camp is there, so I feel that the crowd will be a help for him. Oh yeah, he and Lineker are both Brazilians, right? I feel that more fans will cheer for Andrade,” Pacatiw told The MMA Superfan.

ONE’s bantamweight class is traditionally a stacked division, but Pacatiw is bent on carving a name in it. He made his promotional debut in July 2021 and has compiled 2-1 record to date.
